Firmware messed up my Router - 2820Vn was created by computerblues
Hi
I upgraded the firmware on my 2820Vn router.
When the firmware finished, a little message popped up to say it was all done.
Now the router turns on and displays all the little lights on the left apart from DSL one.
The router is not pingable
When you plug in the LAN cable in to the 1Gb port, no lights show up
Any ideas?
Thanks
James

Hi
Just to let you know, the problem is now fixed.
I reflashed the machine using TFTP.
1) While holding the reset button in, power the router on
2) After 5 seconds let go of the reset button
3) Using the firmware utility, send the new firmware
I found the procedure somewhere in this forum.
Thanks
James
