I'm trying to get QOS working with the built in voip functionality.
So far despite trying every method I can think of to identify the voip traffic I've been totally unsuccessfull.

I seem to remember being told a few years back when using a 2600v that QOS "automatically" took care of voip traffic....is the 2820vn the same?

Yes. With QoS enabled the router will automatically give priority to the built in VoIP ports.
