Connecting Xbox 360 to the Internet with Draytek 2600We was created by nairobi
Hello
I have an old (ie non-wireless) Xbox 360 that I want to connect to the Internet. My current ADSL modem and wireless router is a Thomson 585v7 on the other side of the room and I don't want to run an ethernet cable all the way there.
However, I have my old wireless router, a Draytek 2600We. Can the 2600We be convinced to operate in a mode that would allow the Xbox to communicate with my Thomson wirelessly? I can see lots of rather confusing information about wireless bridging and WDS (which I think 2600We doesn't support), and I suspect the answer will be no, but can this be done with my current hardware?
