Hi
I've a bit of a conundrum re opening ports.
I have an IP Camera with a fixed IP address (192.168.1.15) using port 88. I have configured the camera to work on wireless and everything works fine, port 88 is opened and I can see my camera from an outside source using DDNS (http://as0844.myfoscam.org:88). However, when I switch to a wired connection (IP Camera thru a 1Gb switch to a Homeplug-Homeplug to the 2710) keeping exactly the same settings (and the camera still on the same IP address) port 88 is not accessible from outside, a port checker confirms that the port is not accessible.
The switch is a Netgear GS608 and the Homeplugs are 1Gb versions, neither of which should impact on port opening?
Any idea what I'm doing wrong :?: .
Dave
EDIT
Changed the IP address to 192.168.1.20, then edited all the open port settings to match the new IP address and now all works fine.
