Fibre/Cable advice *Updated* was created by sherlock
I am moving to Malta and have taken 100mb speed fibre with a static ip with Melita ISP. As it is a temporary rental address for 12 months, I want to use my 2710Vdn until I replace it with the best I can get (any suggestions gratefully received). (when I move to my permanent house)
I have read that it is possible that a LAN port can serve either as a Gigabit Ethernet or a WAN port albeit by changing a few settings. Is there any information on this that would allow / show me how to do this on my 2710Vdn and what cables / connections are needed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

UPDATE...13/4/16
After much research I found I can't use it as it doesn't have the capability except that I can just use the wireless distribution. So any advice on which is the best DrayTek to get that will give the fastest, most reliable service and feature packed is gratefully received.
