Does any know of a comprehensive guide to interpreting syslogs.
I have a vigor 2860n and when reviewing logs (capturing VPN data only) I see entries like magic number, destroy ppp etc and would like to understand exactly what is happening. My VPN tunnel dropped out recently and I thought the reason would be obvious from examining the syslog - not so ! A reboot solved the problem but I'd like to know more.
