3900 to 3900 VPN not passing traffic was created by pdiamond
I have 6 3900 routers in various parts of the country - all of which have a VPN to each other. The problem I have is that every couple of hours one or more of the routers starts to fail to pass traffic (what I mean by fail to pass traffic is very puzzling - it will stop passing traffic between two of more IP addresses (all others ok) OR certain ports will stop being passed (i.e. RDP fails but HTTP and all others are ok).

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now - I have involved Draytek support, tried three different firmware versions and spent hours logging syslogs - all to no avail.

I can fix the problem easily - If I drop one end of the VPN (it does not seem to matter which end) - the VPN reconnects and ALL traffic passes (for the next couple of hours).

If anyone has experienced this and either has a solution or wishes to pool resources to try and resolve it them I would be more than happy to cooperate.

Peter.
