Vigor 2380 vpn to vpn was created by amartinptl
Hi,

I have 2 2830 connected via vpn in 2 x different countries. Initially the LAN to LAN VPN was set so 1 router set to dial in, the other dial out. This worked for a while and was stable however recently stopped working. The only way to sort was keep one router set to dial in and the other set to both. It connects and shows online however, the link isn't as stable - it also removes the options for always connected and ping to keep alive. Anyone have any ideas how to stabilise and why it only connects when one of the routers call direction is set to as both

I have a similar problem:

I have VPN's from a mixture of ten v2820n or v2830n/nV at branch sites all linking to three head-office sites, one with a Cisco PIX, the other with v2820n and the third with v2830 so a total of some 35+ VPN links. All was fine until yesterday Monday 13th November 2014.

Suddenly the VPN between a couple of v2830n and the Head Office v2830n stopped. I updated them to latest Firmware 3.6.7.2_232201 (they were running a which the previous version) resolved some issues but has created others issues and failed links. The main problem being between the two Head Office routers, one a v2820n (v3.3.7.5_232201) and the other a v2830 (v3.6.7.2_232201) I can not get this VPN to work at all.

Anyone any suggestions?
