Hi

Has anyone had a luck yet with this modem? I am using the 2800VG and had no success!

Firmware 2.8.1 (UK)

Many thanks

I have received a firmware BETA today that allows the modem to initialise and attempt to dial out. I now need to get the correct initialisation strings for it.

Any ideas guys?

Check the logs in the orange software and you can see them there.

Have you had anyluck with it?

I abandoned it as I need a quick solution so I bought an unlocked 3g E220 off fleabay. This worked a treat first time.

At little over 50 quid I thought it easier than pulling my hair out over something that wasn't likely to yield a fast solution.

I will have a play when I get time. Interestingly the strings I used on the 225 worked perfectly on the 220 so I'm assumng there is something more sinister going on than just modem strings.

Adie
