Hi All,

I have a 2130n on draytek.com site firmware 1.5.0.1 is available - on .co.uk only 1.4.1. The newer version allows self registration from the user interface but current UK versin doesnt have that option.

Any reason not to use the version from the .com site?

Cheers
N

I upgraded my Vigor 2820n to the latest firmware available on DrayTek's international servers and didn't encounter any problems. However, ensure you download the correct firmware for your router's modem.

It would probably be easier if I just explained what I did:

  1. I noted my router's annex specification and modem code, which are both specified under ‘ADSL firmware version’ on the Vigor 2820n's status page. The number at the beginning of the version code is the modem code. My router's annex specification was ‘A’ and its modem code was 232201.

  2. I connected to DrayTek's international FTP server , then navigated to /Vigor2820/Firmware/V3.3.5.1/annexA/2820V3.3.5.1A232201.

  3. I downloaded the desired firmware file from the directory then installed it.

I'm on 1.5.0.1 on a 2130n went to this version because I needed the public IP facility.

Haven't seen any problems with this version.

It's on the left hand-side just above the logout button "Product Registration"
