2820n and 2 Internet connections was created by hatchet
Hello we have a 2820n currently working with one internet connection,
we have had a new line installed so we can add a second connection for load balancing.
Firstly I would like to setup the 2820n so WAN1 is dedicated for the Mailserver as we send email from a static IP and have mail delivered via MX record to same static IP address.
I would like WAN 2 setup for everything else.
Whats the best way to set this up?
Thank you for any help

I'm trying to add the settings below to the Load Balance Policy
Protocol: Any
WAN: WAN1 - NO FAILOVER
SRC IP start: leave blank
SRC IP end: leave blank
Dest IP start: leave blank
Dest IP end: leave blank
Dest Port start: 25
Dest Port end: 25
second rule:
Protocol: Any
WAN: WAN2 - This time you can enable fail over if required
SRC IP start: leave blank
SRC IP end: leave blank
Dest IP start: leave blank
Dest IP end: leave blank
Dest Port start: leave blank
Dest Port end: leave blank
When I press save and go back and view the settings it doesn't seem to save the details. for example in the first rule I cant see port 25.
I'm using Model Name : Vigor2820n
Firmware Version : 3.3.3_232201
Build Date/Time : Oct 23 2009 15:23:15
ADSL Firmware Version : 232201_A Hardware: Annex A
Maybe its time to upgrade to Firmware 3.3.4.1

Has anyone seen the load balance policy not save the details before?
