Vigor 2820 & FW 3.3.5.2 was created by toibs
I see there's a new f/w out. I'm currently running 3.3.3_232201, since any versions since have given me issues with VPN and logging me out every 15-20 mins ( i know i wasnt the only one having issues).
Just wondering if anyone is currently running this, and if there are any issues that anyone is aware of...yet..
Cheers
Paul

I've had the same issues with VPN access (ipsec) and have been usung 3.3.3 until recently. Two weeks ago I took the decision to install the RC6 release of 3.3.5.2 and initially had the same IPsec issues. However, I have now set a few items through the web interface and one through the telnet settings and can report my VPN stays up all the time
So what did I do?
1. In the Firewall settings, disable the strict firewall option
2. Telnet to your router and then enter - 'srv nat ipsecpass on'
'svr nat ipsecpass status' will show current settings.
The above only works with a classic IPSEC session established over a NAT session on port 500.
Also you might need to set the web interface - firewall - Dos Defense - 'block unknown protocol' to off

Many thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a go over the next few weeks, and will report back to advise others how it is....

I'm now on the offical UK 3.3.5.2 release v2820_v3352_232201_A and all is still working as expected. Using a classic IPsec session on port 500 into the corporate systems with no drops. Very pleased and I can also report the web interface is a lot faster on 3.3.5.2.....

3352 looking pretty good here.
In particular the troublesome NAT issues which I believe have plagued this model from new seem to be solved at long last
Maybe they eventually fixed it just as the 2830 is released
