2760n Sky Fibre setup possible? was created by gatecrasher3
I spoke with Draytek sales the other day about a suitable VDSL router to allow me use in place of either the new SR102 hub or a separate modem and router together and they replied with the following.
The DrayTek Vigor 2760n and DrayTek Vigor 2860n routers would be suitable for connecting directly to a Sky Fiber connection; they support DHCP option 60 & 61 on the WAN interface which is required for authentication on the Sky MER network.
Once you have the details that the Sky router gives out using DHCP option 60 & 61, those can be applied on the DrayTek router and will provide a working internet connection.
Is anyone here using the 2760n successfully on fibre without the need for a separate modem and if so is there a specific firmware that is required?

It works great with the 2860 which I purchased a week ago. I followed the details in the link you posted and 2860 is now the only box plugged in. Previously my setup was OpenReach Modem -> Sky SR101 Router/Modem -> Draytek 2830. I prefer my Draytek because of the WCF which I use.

That's great news thanks for the info. My 2760 arrived today and fibre is due to go live tomorrow so hopefully all will be well.

Can confirm that the 2760 works a treat with Sky fibre. The DCHP option 60 and 61 strings are added from the web portal as opposed to using telnet as in the guide above.

Just an update on my status, I've had uptime now for over 6 days which is exactly right since I installed the router last week. I added the DCHP options 60 and 61 via telnet though, not sure where the web portal options are.
