Just noticed Draytek.com are showing firmware 3.7.8.2, three versions, one normal and two with vectoring support (which gave me 10Mps more on the beta).

Anyone tried 2760 firmware 3.7.8.2 in UK yet ?

Well I finally kicked the kids off the Internet and tried both Vector 1 and Vector 2 firmware. Hint..backup settings first, the load the .RST version (resets to default) then reload config file. I had a couple of funny spontaneous reboots using the .ALL file version.

However Vector 1 works best for me, the DSL status gives me 53997Kbps down and 19999Kbps up and both in Fast path mode.
Vector 2 gives 53881Kbps in Fast path mode BUT 17311Kbps in Interleave path mode and a considerable number 69666609 FEC (forward error correction ?).

Yes, am using 3.7.8.2/Vector2/572D07, which gives me G.INP downstream and full 73999/19999.
The default 3.7.8.2/Vector2/571a17 doesn't connect at full rate.

I think the G.INP beta modem code is better - it has ReTxEnable running up/down, and zero ES - but it's got the stupid session limit bug (NAT sessions) that I thought they'd got rid of about two years ago, and needs rebooting ever few days.

Aha!

The 3.7.8.2/Vector1 package from:

http://www.draytek.nl/files/Vigor2760_3782.zip

has the same 573807_571701 DSL modem code as our UK G.INP beta. And no silly session limit bug.

Cheers,
Rich

Yes, installing 3.7.8.2 turned off my WiFi somewhere during all the firmware fiddling...

The RC version you have installed has this silly session limit bug (I think) that appears after a while.
