Vigor130 bridge was created by carroll
Just got the Vigor 130 and want to use it as a full bridge (PPPoE passthrough) to my Apple Time Capsule - I want the TC do do all the DHCP work and ISP authentication etc). I installed the very latest firmware (v130_3781_574307) but now can't seem to bridge it! All the instructions I have read online talk about enabling 'PPPoE Passthrough for LAN' under the PPPoE/PPPoA setting page but this option does not appear anywhere. Has something changed with the latest firmware? What am I missing?
My ISP is Eircom (VDSL).

Thanks

AFAIK the 130 is supplied in bridge mode. Usually you wouldn't have to change anything other than the admin password if you wanted to. Mine connected to the vdsl cabinet straight out of the box, but of course I didn't get a connection to my ISP until I put the necessary PPPoE settings in the router.

Edit - ah I see in the Draytek manual that settings may be different for Eircom, my apologies.

Is this a UK Vigor130; if so, this guide may apply:

Many thanks admin

Have done all of this and my Time Capsule can still not a PPPoE connection through the 130 (I did a full factory reset and then exactly what you said). Every other instruction I read say you need to enable/tick the 'PPPoE Passthrough for Wired Lan' option but this is missing for me on the PPPoE/PPPoA tab using firmware 3.7.8.1

Wondering if this is a region/firmware difference to what others have?

Thanks

The Vigor130 automatically selects adsl or vdsl .

In vdsl mode it uses PPoE , you don't need to set anything. It is the router (Time Capsule) that needs to be set to use PPoE.

The settings you have seen online are for a different version of the Vigor.

Time to ask tech support I guess.

(be sure it's a UK spec model... where did you buy it from? - the outer box should
say Area:UK on the silver sticker)
