Hi,
I'm trying to configure a Vigor 2862ac to work on a clients BT ADSL broadband service. Please could someone give me the correct settings for this unit, as I have spent a couple of hours at the clients property unable to make it work and wish to configure it at work before I return to the client.

I spent half the afternoon trying to get a brand new 2862 to connect to a Telesis (Plusnet) adsl line. It wouldn’t authenticate ... though it did show it was syncing ok.

Had an old router in the car which worked immediately ... so I’ve brought the 2862 to play with at home.

What happened with yours?

I haven't yet returned to the customers to try the settings, but when I do I will reply back here.

The main settings are the VLAN set to 101 and the username/password.

If using the default BT hub the password needs to be a space character otherwise whatever the ISP has given.

I updated the firmware. Tested a connection and was ok. Then returned to site ... worked no problem.
