Any way to export or copy bind MAC to IP list?

I'm planning to migrate to a newer and faster router and wonder if anyone has figured a way to preserve their MAC to LAN IP bind list?

You don't say which models are involved...

My very old 2830n doesn't have a specific facility, but my slightly newer 2860n allows you save and restore the Bindings (via options @ LAN >> Bind IP to MAC).

The file format used is plain text and is very simple, e.g :-
Code:
192.168.1.2 00-1d-aa-3f-32-64 VigorAP802 192.168.4.1 d8-d4-3c-83-c2-da SonyTVWired

If the old Router can't produce this file, you can get close to it, by capturing the output of the telnet "srv dhcp status" command and manually editing it. (The 'comments field' doesn't seem accessible though)

Thanks @hornbyp. My upgrade path is to be 2920 to 2927 and I don't see any options on the 2920's web page "LAN >> Bind IP to MAC".

So far the best I can dream up is to take screenshots. And that would be in section of 12 IPs per screen and with two images per section: IP address against MAC and IP address against Comment.

If you Telnet to the 2920, does it have the "srv dhcp status" command?

Thanks for that Telnet tip. That is a lot better than screenshots.

or even better "IP bindmac show", which would take very little editing.

(Do an initial export from the 2927, just to prove the format of the file it expects)
