2820n wifi turning off? was created by sentinel_uk
This is really strange, not seen it before.

I have a 2820 router and have the Wifi configured and alls ok and work’s well.

Each morning, I find the wifi is not present, I have to log into the routers web pages and the wifi is actually un-ticked.
Tick the box and alls ok.

Next morning, it’s done it again.

The router can’t have restarted because my ADSL line is still connected for over 100 hours.

I have even done a reboot of the router and powered it off at the mains. When it comes back online all settings are there and i can connect. So it must be storing them ok.

Late night or early morning, when i go to connect, The wifi has dropped and when i log in, The tick box is un-ticked again.

Never had this with my old draytek router.

No one else has access to the router at all, and i have a very strong password on there. But, to be safe i have even changed that, just in case someone had got into it.

Anyone got any clue why my wifi is turning off?

Its as if its turning it off for power saving or something.

You don't have a scheduled stop command set up?

No stop set up.
Just seems to turn itself off.

Was thinking of setting up a stop for every day at 6am and a start for 6:05am and the same again for a pm rule to see if this will fix it in the short turm.

Thanks for the reply

Hey mate, ive just started to get the same problem within the last few days. The wifi just turns off and requires me to reboot the system constantly.

Im going to contact Draytek support as this is no use!
