Wireless on 2925ac was created by andy_cawdell
I'm puzzling over setting up wireless on the 2925ac
Initially I want two SSID's , say "DrayTek" and "DrayTek Guest" with passwords I've created.
I cannot see where I restrict or not new devices attaching and I'm not sure if my cut and paste of generated passwords is working
TIA (thanks in advance) all

On what basis do you want to allow/deny new devices from connecting?
Cut/paste not working...it should...if it authenticates, it worked
n.b. don't use the router make/model in your SSID.

Hi
Thanks for the response
Re denying devices I want to stop all new ones unless i can turn something off for a while as a new one does
And I note I can see and connect to the first SSID but not the second - now renamed "DT_wifi" and "DT_guest"
Best
Andy

Don't tell people the WPA code - then they can't connect devices.
Or set up DHCP bindings and select 'strict bind'.

OK I do not give them a code - that is why we have a guest account that cannot see the network
But I STILL have no clue where I fix this - is it in the Wireless Lan section of the menu?
Becuase it it is i cannot see it

On the 2925 (non wireless) it's in LAN >> Bind IP to MAC
The 'strict bind' option means that ONLY devices you've explicitly allowed can connect to the internet
