Options for WiFi roaming was created by conorhayes13
Hi guys,
I plan on buying a AP 902 to use with my Vigor 2680n+
I want to set Roaming up, but am wondering the best way to do this. I saw about using Radius, but do not think that would be good for things such as the Guest Network or use it for everyone in my house... any way to prevent this or am I miss understanding it? I would disable DHCP but not sure about the effectiveness of this?
Thanks

As an aside, you mean MULTIPLE AP902 - one wouldn't be any good.

baffled with your question on roaming, Roaming is jumping from one airstation to another whcih AP900/902 have it as a setup option , having 1 won't count

I'm misunderstood here, I now know I'll need to ap.. won't bother now.. what would be best way to extend my wifi signal without needing to change station manually?

Same ssid on both then with same password settings

Your devices then will just use which ever is nearest

For example I have 7 ap900's and 1 2860 all with same ssid and works fine
