Vigor 2760 - Important Product Changes

We are pleased to announce some important changes to the Vigor 2760 series. Following on from the EOL of the Vigor 2110 and 2710 series, the Vigor 2760 has been redesigned to cover all applications that other models previously covered.

  1. The price of the Vigor 2760 series has been dropped so that it's similar to the Vigor 2710/2110 series (which are now EOL)
    .
  2. The Vigor 2760 has now been redesigned to use the DrayOS platform, in common with most other DrayTek routers, giving it a more familiar user interface. The original Vigor 2760 series uses a Linux-based O/S.

  3. The new Vigor 2760 now supports Ethernet WAN. You can switch one of its four LAN Ethernet ports to be used as a WAN port instead, to connect to any Ethernet-based Internet feed (e.g. cable modem, other modem etc.) instead of using its built-in ADSL/VDSL modem connectivity. Please do add this important new feature to your own web site specifications. (Note - Ethernet WAN is an alternative to DSL setting; you cannot operate both at the same time on the Vigor 2760).

  4. As the new Vigor 2760's use DrayOS, they also have considerably better support for more models of 3G/4G modems.

  5. Both the original Linux Vigor 2760 and the new DrayOS based units continue to be supported.

  6. All units shipped by us since 1st June are the new DrayOS models (you can tell if it has firmware 3.x.x – Linux models have firmware 1.x.x)
