I have a Vigor 2800V that has been perfect for the last year or so.

Anyway i have now started a new website up and need to really use filezilla to optimise my file uploads and be able to edit and back the site up.

I have tried using free test clients and these connect straight away.

tried using the one for my website and it fails.

I have set filezilla to use my static IP address and set the router to open the ports needed (afaik)

I have even had a coder friend mess with my computer (not the router) to try get it to connect but it doesn't.

I can connect to the server via an website based ftp but that limits my upload and download usage.

All the problems point to my router being the problem but i dont know much about these things

Can someone please help
