Data filter causing high latency 2820 was created by rlphillips630602
Hi,

Have a 2820 on the latest firmware. Instant messaging and P2P is blocked along with a few other thing like facebook. But with the data filter on, im getting a weird latency issues. Web pages are slow to load, speed test detects 300-400ms latency. Although if i ping particular addresses i get a low latent response. I.e. 30-40ms. But anything passing through the data filter is slow. If i disable the data filter all returns to normal, but obviously the restrictions dont work. Has anyone else come across this issue?

It seems to be the web content filter service, which is getting slower for some reason - this shouldn't matter once it switches over to Globalview. In the meantime, try disabling the web content filter specifically and see if it helps with latency?
