Firewall Filters was created by jm82
No doubt this is a ridiculously stupid question, but how do I actually enable my firewall filters, as they currently appear to be completely ineffectual.
I have created a new Filter Set, with a single Filter Rule. I assume that my config blocks all traffic from my PC:
I have rebooted the router, which I would have thought is unnecessary, and yet here I am, posting on this forum.
Can someone tell me how to block traffic on my router please?!

Are you calling this filter set from anyway ? i.e. from the default filter sets ?

Ah! Maybe that's the problem! I assumed that the firewall rules would cascade through all enabled sets until a packet was matched and handled, before finally settling on the default rule. I will experiment and post back...

Yeah, that's cracked it. I had assumed that the "Next Filter Series" was just a HTML shortcut link to another Filter Set web page, not the chaining of firewall filter sets. A case of RTFM no doubt... ![:-) :-)](/media/kunena/emoticons/1.png)
Thanks very much for your swift help.
