You can upload a new firmware:
use either a ".rst" or a ".all" firmware
rst: router settings will be set to factory defaults
all: router will keep settings
if you cannot load a firmware using ftp or tftp any more, you can set the router to tftp mode by this procedure:
Download the drayte tftp software and a matchin firmware for your model. (if you have linux or macos you can use the built in tftp program, even windows has one if you like, but the draytek program looks nicer).
power down, hold the reset button, and while holding the reset key turn on the router
wait a litte, until the router is blinking with most of its LEDs, release the reset button
now, try to upload the firmware to the last known ip address of the router.
(user name and password will be set to factory default at this moment)
if this does not work, use the IP address which is printed on the router.
for tftp working ok on windows, disable the windows firewall and all internet security or similar programs you have on your PC.
does that help ?
