Problem with firmware upgrade was created by davidcunningham
I've just joined this forum. I have a Vigor 2820n which is used for a network of computers and also wirelessly. I tried to connect an IPAD 2 to the WiFi yesterday but it would not work. Having done some research I found that it was because of IPV6. So I upgraded the firmware on the router to version 3.3.7.3 but now I cannot access the router as it will not accept my password. What do I need to do as I am about to upgrade broadband to FTTC and will need to change the settings? The router seems to be working OK other than being unable to access it.

what firmware did you upgrade from?
I think if you were on an early version you need to go to the one before the latest if you were not already on it.

You will probably need to download the firmware upgrade tool and TFTP the firmware back on to the device with the factory defaults and start again
