In 2019 why Draytek? was created by joners
So bit of a loaded question I know, but I’m interested to see what people’s thoughts are.
Question:
With companies like Ubiquiti and Mikrotik offering powerful flexible alternatives (for less) at one end of the market. Then the NGFW/SD-WAN “cloud” managed devices from companies Meraki, FortiGate, and many others at the other where does DrayTek fit in? Are they still worth a purchase?

DrayTek can be cloud managed...but of course, the vast majority of users problem just want good hardware and the features within, sot necessarily cloud managed.

Good point, ACS 2 looks interesting. I only ever used the old version which was pretty awful in my limited experience but it was still there.
