SNMP with Vigor 130? was created by reepham
Does anyone have experience using SNMP to get line stats and so on from a Vigor 130? Mine seems to be invisible to the app I am using to try to connect.

I found a help page referring to SNMP with DrayTek routers in general but I couldn’t find a setting in the GUI or any reference to SNMP for the Vigor 130 specifically. If it makes any difference, this is the UK model that's configured purely as a modem. Am I looking for something that isn't there?

I just want some means of continuous logging – it doesn't have to be SNMP specifically – but I am on a Mac so my options are limited.

Any advice welcome!

Charles

OK, so this thread says that SNMP on the UK version of the Vigor 130 is unsupported, or a hack at best. If true (and I certainly can't find any mention of SNMP in the web interface) I find that disappointing for a product at this price.

Well, hardly anyone would use it AND as the product is meant to be a transparent bridge, adding in local interception isn't really compatible with the concept.
