I have a bit of a problem with a vigor130.
It is syncing at a slow upload speed of 5Mbps. Speedtest is just under 5Mbps.
When i put the talktalk router back on it syncs at 19Mbps. With a solid 17Mbps upload on a speedtest.
The download speeds are the same as the talktalk router.
I don't know whether anyone could help with this.
I have set the vigor up with the draytek help fie for talktalk.
i have included the vdsl status and connection screen.
I hope someone can see something wrong.

That is weird.

Your downstream is above the maximum attainable rate , your upstream is slightly above the the figure shown in the stats.

My ISP connection uses TalkTalk business , I didn't need to change any settings apart from the VLAN Tag which is "Tag Value 101" and "Priority 2 "


You are connected to a Huawei fibre cabinet and I know some people on these cabinets have issues getting a stable connection with a Vigor 130 .

Which firmware version are you running?

The firmware is the latest which came on the modem 3.8.4.1BT.

I was using my old open reach modem before,but that started to have problems.(it was over 10yrs old)
That did use to get the correct upload before it packed up.
An engineer came out when i was having problems before and checked the line and put a new master socket on.
That's when the old modem was faulty.

The connection seems very stable not had any drop outs ,been using the talktalk router for about 3 months now.
I did have the vigor connected for a few days before i realised the upload was slow and it seemed stable in that time.
The vlan tag is set to 101 ,but the priority i left on 0.

I would try the tag at (2).

Maybe also consider flashing the firmware again and using the .rst file to reset the modem.

( You can do that offline attached to a laptop.)

Edited to say , just saw a ost on ThinkBroadband where a TT user is having low upload issues. Not quite the same scenario but it may interest you.

Well the priority 2 seemed to do the trick.
Upload syncing at 19.99 Mbps now.
