Log DSL stats on vigor 2762N, is this possible? was created by outerspacehopper
Hi, is it possible to log DSL stats on the Vigor 2762N? e.g. monitor and log how the SNR margins etc change over time. This can be done with 'Routerstats lite' and other modems, but I'm not sure if there is a built in method, or other option in the Vigor modems? I don't think 'Routerstats lite' will work with the Vigors chipset?

Thanks!

See: https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-dsl-status-more for a description of the information available via the Telnet interface. I believe this is the type of information that Routerstats uses, but it's not in the format that it expects.

I used the scriptable Telnet client from here: http://support.moonpoint.com/downloads/windows/network/Telnet/tst10.php to write a 'custom sensor' for Paessler's PRTG monitoring software .

In theory, Draytek's SyslogRD can issue a period Telnet command to the Router - but it appears to be broken in the version I'm using (the program just exits if you click the 'MISC' button to configure it  )
