Vigor 167 and BT ADSL2+ was created by ctluk
Hi all
Just a quick one, has anyone had any issues get a Vigor 167 modem working on ADSL2+ (BT connection)? Normally the older model modems are plug and play but this one just will not connect, doesn't even attempt to try. BT tell me the line is OK so I have to "trust" them on that. I've originally left all settings on Auto but since I've manually added the following:
ADSL2+
VPI - 0
VCI - 38
VC-Mux
I am not convinced the line is working but thought I'd ask here so I am attacking the problem from both sides.
Cheers
Rob

Just to close this one off, although the line was testing fine it we finally got an engineer out to site and they found the fault on the line causing the issues. Line fixed, 167 connects perfectly.
