Hi – I have a Vigor 2763ac router to connect to BT Full Fibre 900. Its got the latest firmware _BT. Followed the set up guide Setup with BT Infinity Fibre Broadband VDSL2. Tried user name bthomehub@btbroadband.com and bthomehub@btinternet.com with no password, bt and BT.
No connection (green light on PON on open reach box).
Any suggestions? Thx v much

Hi

Have you turned the VLAN tag for the WAN connection off as FTTP connections dont need it.

Your on fttp not vdsl - try these instuctions - hopefully will give a hint on how to do it on your router. 👍🏻

Hi,

So you have 'Full Fibre 900' and you're using the VDSL2 config settings?

Your router has WAN1 VDSL (RJ11), and also WAN2 (via yellow (LAN) port 4).

You should be connecting your PON to the yellow port 4 and enabling the WAN2 settings in the router, then trying to apply your ISP's specific settings, if necessary, or just enable the DHCP ethernet mode and see if it picks up an IP Address.

See here:
https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-ethernetwan-enable
(If VLAN tagging is required, or needs disabling, see those settings too. "VLAN Tag insertion")

@tommo2020

It will need "PPPoE" set as "access mode" for WAN2 and no VLAN tags (the ONT does everything needed for that).

Beyond that and username bthomehub@btbroadband.com and password BT you should be good to go.
