Network Lag was created by tfgst
Hi all,

Hoping that you can assist here please.

I am using two AP700 to connect to my network and I am noticing there is a lot of lag. As an example, when I am on Facebook and watch a video, it loads for about the first five seconds and then it stops playing. Another issue I have is that when copying files over the wifi, they do not always copy but if I tried to copy over a wired LAN, they copy - granted not the quickest but they do copy.

I really do not know what I am looking for on the AP700 so any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Incidentally, when I run either a ping or a trace route, these do not show up any concerns, as far as I am aware.

I have been led to believe it may be a LAN issue whereby there might be too much activity on the network.

This issue has driven me around the bend for the past two years. The ISP have been a waste of time talking to but having put another call into Draytek now, the problem seems to have been rectified. I am so chuffed with this right now!!

The issue was that the UDP flood defence packets were set at 300 whereas they should have been set around 4000.

Very happy :D :D :D :D
