Vigor 130 with BT was created by jon_
Hi,

I am going to purchase a DrayTek Vigor 130 to use as a modem (on BT), which will connect to a Linksys Velop router and mesh system.

When I get the Vigor 130, I will update to the latest firmware.
After the firmware update do I need to set it to bridge mode or leave it as PPPoE pass-through?

Apologies for the newbie question, but I am really not sure what the difference between bridge mode and PPPoE pass-through would be. Also are they any additional settings that would need changed such as DHCP?

To access the Vigor 130 stats am I best putting a switch between the Vigor 130 and router or is there a better way to do this?

Many thanks for your help.

Does the Velop support virtual WANs?

(Note that in step 1 of this example the figure shows the "Customer" and "Service" boxes to be the other way round to what you will see on your 130 - that caught me out at first  )
