Is it possible to get the Draytek Syslog Utility running as a service rather than an app that needs a logged in user?

If not does anyone have any recommendations for alternative syslog software compatible with Draytek routers?

1. Nope, it has to run in an active Windows user session. You can set the auto run so it runs on startup and have the PC log in without a password, but not a way to run it as a service.

2. Personally I use either a Pi running syslog-ng or my synology NAS. On Windows there are things like Kiwi Syslog: https://www.solarwinds.com/free-tools/kiwi-free-syslog-server

Essentially, they're just syslog messages and that's completely standard. There's some decoding that the DrayTek syslog utility does, but otherwise it's just a syslog server as well
