Draytel Service Outage ? was created by nigel pallett
Is anyone aware of a Draytel Service outage right now ?
None of our Draytek routers can register - different locations and different ISPs, so the fault is not at our end.

Should be sorted now:
Quote from email I received:
There was an issue which occurred for a short period and has affected some customers. The problem should be clear now but we are continuing to investigate the cause and prevent reoccurrence. We apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Regards,

I use
Localphone
(referral link) which gives great service.
It's a hybrid service, offering a calling-card style service along with a VOIP one. The VOIP service gives you a (real) local number for free and the calling card service gives you up to 50 local numbers that you can assign to whatever numbers you like.
So, for instance, i've assigned a local number to my mum's home phone in Portugal, so i can benefit from their low rates when i'm away from my VOIP phone by using my mobile.
