Hello,

I just bought a 2710Vn and couldn't be happier. Setting up VoIP and SIP accounts was easy as a breeze and it even uses my regular DECT phone on the analogue port. The phone rings when I receive calls on my regular phone line.

Now my questions (which I couldn't find answers to in the manual):

- How do I configure the router so I can also dial-out on the regular phone-line?

- Is there a way, for example with dial-codes, to change the used SIP-account on-the-fly from the phone?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you, Sir, you are a scholar and a gentleman. This should be part of the manual...

Wow these Draytek guys are on the ball.

The Voice-over-IP FAQ was last updated on 18 Jul 2105!!!!

They are nearly 100 years ahead of us mortals :-)

Let us know if you get the PSTN Relay/Digit Map to work, there are some issues with the 2820Vn which are blocking these from working right now.

ie calls to 999 are not routed to the PSTN (BT line) which could be .. well kinda, awkward in an Emergency situation like if you need Fire Ambulance or Police.

But apart form those rare times it is OK.

PSTN Relay issue sorted for me!!!

Thanks to Harry at Draytek UK Tech Support the fix that worked for me was :-

Could you try changing the Mic Gain to 10 in

VoIP -> Phone Settings -> Index 1 -> Advanced

All Sorted! Just an automatic pause after #0 needed now, so we can dial on cordless handsets before pressing the green button....
