IPPBX2820 - call forward problems was created by bob ladell
Hi All

Had an IPPBX for a few weeks now and generally works very well. However, I seem to be have problems with call forwarding and calls to / from the analogue port :-

1 JSPhone (or anyother soft phone) as e.g. ext 202 set to call forward to an external number, land or mobile, via either a SIP trunk or the analogue line (ext 901) causes the IPPBX to crash and do a hard reset

2 Grandstream hard phone set to call forward works fine

3 If I set a Grandstream and a soft phone as the same extension (I want to give a user PC control over e.g. phone forwarding) then it also crashes and resets.

Plus - problem 2
4 Analogue phone on default ext 901 takes ages to connect to internal IP phone, soft or hard, then having answered the call and hung up the calls takes 1 to 2 minutes to clear down

5 Direct external dial on the analogue port is also fine in that it connects - but also takes time to connect and longer to disconnect.

I'm running F/W V3.5.4_RC2 (this is a version further on than that available for download) and a very simple config - 2 x IP extensions + 901, 2 sipgate trunks - using 1, with plenty of credit. Default voicemail and no autoattendant.

All normally dialled incoming / outgoing calls all working a treat. It is just A) call forwarding and B) anything to do with the analogue port that is problematic.

Anyone else having this problem ?? Any soluitions please ??

Thanks All

to support.

[Improvements and Corrections]
1. Callers do not need to press # to select an Auto-Attendant menu option
2. Call Barring method using URI/URL improved
3. Auto-provisioning now allows Extension Number and Display Name to be different
4. IVR Prompt upload now supported via Web Interface
5. Incoming Voicemail from external callers improved
6. Improvements to Auto-Attentant to correct situations where call wasn't being passed to
