I'm trying to forward calls to an external number. One way works, the other doesn't. Any suggestions gratefuly received.

1 Working way. Set e.g. extension 203 to forward to 02xxxxxxxx where ext 203 is served by either SJPhone or an ATCOM ATA set to fwd on no reply to the external number. Dial 203 from another extension e.g. 210 and the call will connect to the external number with no problem. Tick in the box.

2 Not working. With Ext 203 set to receive all internal calls, i.e. not a Group, dial the IPPBX from an external number. The call rings in (on ISDN or SIPGate - tried both) and at the end of the ring out period (10S) tries to call out but the call fails. All other settings as per 1 above. Box yet to be ticked.

What trunk is set to dial the outbound call to the 02x number, SIPGate or ISDN?

Unfortunately it's not currently possible to forward or divert a call that originates externally to an external number. I know that it's been requested to DrayTek.
