We have a client on a 3 ext ringgroup.
DND cuts off all incoming calls, so cannot be used (there is no receptionist to filter calls). The volume controls on the handset do not silence the incoming calls.
A workaround is quite simple.
1. Open Windows Sound Recorder.
2. Click save as (to save en empty Wav file).
3. Click Change button and pick 8khz, 8 bit mono.
4. Save to your desktop
5. Login to your 350 handset webadmin
6. Choose Phone settings, and Ringtones.
7. Choose upload, and give a name as "Silent"
8. Pick the file
9. Click Upload
To enable Silent mode:
1. Press Menu
2. Press 3
3. Press Enter
4. Press 5
5. Press Enter
6. Select “Silent†using the up/down arrows
7. Press the “Save†key on screen
8. Press back twice, to return to the main menu
