I've come across a strange problem with my 2820Vn. Up until yesterday I was running it on Sky ADSL Broadband with no problems. My DrayTel account registered immediately on the router and worked perfectly.

Yesterday I had virgin cable installed (since my ADSL line wasn't great quality). Took me about 20 minutes of messing around, but got the 2820 up and running with the cable modem connected to WAN2 and WAN1 now disabled. In the WAN2 configuration, to get it working, I enabled the Static/Dynamic IP tab, and set it to get IP automatically (I didn't enter anything in the Router Name or Domain Name spaces) as before this, it wasn't working with the cable modem. I don't know if this is the right setting?

BUT, my draytel sip account no longer registers at all. I've also tried a voiptalk account I have and that also doesn't register. I know the issue is not that Virgin are blocking the ports or anything since I tried to connect to my draytel account using x-lite client, and it connects straight away.

I don't know if I need to adjust settings for the SIP accounts now that it connects through a cable modem? DO I need to change the NAT settings in the SIP account or something?

I've run the debug logs via telnet, and this is what's coming up:

Hi

I don't know if this will work, but as it only takes a few seconds to try, how about trying changing the the proxy entry (in the Vigor SIP Accounts settings section) from draytel.org to nat.draytel.org:5065

Don't know if it'll do the trick, but it's worth a try :)

Bri

(PS Note that if you do try changing it, it's 5065 for the proxy but that the SIP port should be left at 5060; I just thohght I'd point that out in case you thought that it was a typo in the above suggestion).
