VOIP - Blackberry and IPPBX? was created by sgictdt
Hi,

I apologise now if this is in the wrong section and if it's a really basic question but I'm interested in achieving the following. I'm not a VOIP expert so please treat me lightly!

I want my customers to be able to contact me either in my workshop (which has internet access) or whilst I'm on the move by phoning my local 01 number. I'm based in Cornwall so 3G signal is pretty bad but will have a blackberry phone with good normal/GPRS signal.

So I was looking at the IPPBX unit with a VOIP phone at the workshop and when I go out that I can flip it so it diverts the calls to my mobile. Maybe a group hunt approach would be better? However, I'm totally clueless whether you can do such a thing with this setup or whether I would need to look at a solution like.

Ideally, I would like to invest in my own equipment rather than a hosted solution to save in the long term.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can spare a few minutes of their time on this.
