IPPBX with Linksys SPA 3102 was created by whammer
Hi,

I need to connect 2 analogue lines to my IPPBX, and since the PSTN port is just for failover (really annoying), i had to install an external gateway, i already have a 3cx and it works perfectly with the SPA-3102, tried same configuration but all i get from the debug console is "Method is not implemented" when i try to register the gateway as a trunk. Did anyone manage to connect an analogue line to the IPPBX.

One other thing, reboot the IPPBX loses all the Call Logs, is there a better way to save the call logs to a USB flash or automatic email them.. otherwise it is really silly to lose everything just cause of a reboot!

Please advise

Hi whammer,

Did you get any joy with your request? Have you managed to connect a PSTN/analogue line to the IPPBX? If so can you post your findings/experiences?

Thanks

It's been a while since the above posts. Am I correct in thinking that the PSTN/FXO port is now fully usable as a PSTN Gateway, hence the use of anything like the SPA3102 would be unnecessary if you only need a single line?
