Hi All
I have 1 vigor router (2820) at each of 2 local offices (named Sussex and Kent). At one office (Sussex) we have a Mitel phone system installed and i would like to add an IP phone (mitel 5312) to the Kent office. I understand that i can do this with a VPN, the mitel system is setup for the ip phone already. can somebody help me with the setup please. I know both my WANs and all Network configuration etc (sussex lan is 192.168.1.x and Kent is 192.168.2.x). What I'm struggling with is on the VPN, do i set up 2 vpns - 1 from Sussex - Kent and 1 from Kent - Sussex or do I use just 1 VPN from either office (connected 24/7) and how do i then connect the phone (IP is 192.168.2.201) to this VPN? Sorry to sound like a muppet but i have checked online and nothing has a walkthrough.

There are various help article in the Draytek.co.uk website to assist with this. But a rough overview is to ensure you have static IP issued by your ISP. Then setup an IPsec 3DES profile at each site. One should be a "dial out" & the other should be a "dial in". Once all that has been setup the link should come up. Then you can pass whatever traffic you need up & down the pipe. Have a loo at:

Either as a DHCP reservation or a static address in the phone itself. You may need to allow a connection from remote subnet on the Mitel.
