Draytek 2820Vn and Pirelli Discus DP-L10 was created by and235100
Hi.
I searched the forum for this, but couldn't find any information.
I recently set my 2820Vn up with a sip/voip account to sipgate - this works fine - my HTC HD2 can make and receive voip calls - and I bought a Pirelli Discus DP-L10 (as this is tested as working with Sipgate) to use as well.
When I try and connect the Pirelli phone to the wireless (hidden SSID, WPA2-PSK AES), I check the WLAN status and it tells me that it is connected (on Auto, it even assigns a DHCP lease from the pool) - but I am unable to ping the Pirelli phone - whether from a computer on the LAN, or from the 2820Vn itself. I have tried switching off MAC filtering in Wireless/Access Control - but this makes no difference (I added the Pirelli phone's MAC address into Access Control in anycase)
If I look at the WLAN status on the phone, it looks okay - yet I can't seem to check the connection.
If I change the SIP settings as per Sipgate's instructions - I either get "SIP not ready" or "DNS resolved failed"
Anyone had any luck with this combination?
Thanks. Andrew.

After looking at this for a while - I had a look at the router's syslog entries.
It has logged a ton of these:
<150>Dec 4 18:52:52 Draytek2820Vn: Local User (MAC=<Pirelli phone MAC>): 192.168.1.34 DNS -> 192.168.1.1 inquire sipgate.co.uk
But unlike normal internet traffic - there are no further entries.
(192.168.1.34 is the static IP I have set on the phone)
I also get "DNS resolved failed" error when I try and browse the web using the WiFi connect on the phone.
