Vigorous 350 and expire time was created by haywardi
Hi
Can someone help me.
I'm using this phone to connect to an IPPBX, it registers with no problem but after 60 seconds ish, the PBX reports it as not connected (it's not the same LAN).
By looking through the settings on the 350 I found the expire time field, so up'ed to 3600. Now it registers for an hour and then disconnects. The IPPBX reports it has disconnecting.
I then looked up the meaning of this field as the documentation just says enter the expire time, not what the field does. In summary it would appear this field is the length of time the phone stays registered on the PBX before re-registration is required..... However, the 350 doesn't appear to be re-registering,it just stays offline.
Is this a fault/bug, or is another setting required to get the phone to reregister???
Please advise.

Oops sorry, it should say it is on the same LAN!

Sounds like a bug, have you tried ticking the "keep alive" button although on a LAN you shouldn't need this.
Also, are there any options in the IPPBX that could over-ride the re-register setting?

Hi,
The keep alive timer was one of the first settings I tried, unfortunately on or off it makes no difference in these circumstances.
Also does anyone know what's up with the official support line? Called it twice today, answered immediately with music, waited & waited until the music stopped and I was disconnected.....

Hi,
Just been advised that the issue has been fixed in 06c!
Just awaiting that firmware to be sent to me. Will confirm once loaded.
