Vigorphone 350 & backlight was created by haywardi
hi folks,
Can someone help me please.
I have a couple of 350's but the back light only stays on for about 3 or 4 SECONDS. Whilst this is not the end of the world, my pbx sends the customers name and other data to the phone and it world be good to be able to see this information when I'm talking to them. However with the backlight off, it's difficult.
So how dobi change the duration?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm sure the solution has been discovered by now, but so the answer can be found here, along with the question:-
You can change the setting in the menus on the phone. Press the Menu button then select Phone Settings and LCD backlight timeout is an option there.
I am however puzzled why Draytek saw fit to set the default to such a short time. It's just barmy. Not even enough time to read the menus let alone actually select an option. Since there's no battery power involved, why set it so short. I just change mine to 60 secs. Much better.
