Hi all
Hopefully someone can help me simplify this installation. I think it should get the little grey cells going.
I have got the system working as in the diagram below with two telephones in each office connected to Draytel, but I suspect that it could all be improved a little if I can eliminate one of the routers. I can only get it to work by configuring the 2800VG as a bridge and connecting the 2900VG WAN port to a LAN port on the 2800VG.
What I think could possibly be achieved is this next diagram.
I would like to just use the 2800VG in the branch office, but I suspect that will not be possible because the VOIP in the 2800VG will not work with NAT (no proxy configuration entry). The 2800VG cannot be used in the head office because it has (as far as I can tell) no Ethernet WAN connection for the cable modem that connects to the internet.
I hope it does not make your head hurt too much.
