Hi

I need help, we had a hosted VOIP system for some time with Hello Telecom and decided a couple of months ago to have our own PBX.
My local internet provider did the set up for me and apart from a few teething problems we are nearly working fine.

When I take my desktop phone home and try to login to the PBX it will not register. As it worked fine before with a hosted service I assume it must be an account configuration issue.
The SIP account settings on the phones is set to the router address which works fine for all the phones that are connected locally but will not allow access from outside the network.

I assume that maybe the IP address of the router is not visible from outside but as a complete novice I am probably wrong, any ideas?

I am having the same problem. The extension work with th LAN IP address butr when i give them the WAN IP address they stop working.

Did you solve your problem
