Trying to set up VOIP on BT Talk using new 2850VN.
Connect a BT POTS phone to Phone 1 & 2 socket using a BT socket to RJ11 adaptor the phone rings continuously.
Can make and receive VOIP calls ok but have to turn ringer off.
Any suggestions. Could it be that the adaptor is the problem, it came from Maplin.

I don't know what you've bought from maplin, but probably a doubler, which is not suitable. You need to have a RJ11-BT SPLITTER and it's supplied in the box with the router.
